Jay attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison and graduated from the School of Journalism in 1994. In her spare time, Emma enjoys hiking, running, Del Mar dog beach, chew toys, chasing smaller animals in the nearby canyons, sniffing other dogs’ behinds, rolling in dead things, anything made of rawhide and sampling foods from just about anyone who’s willing to offer them to her.
